Dosage & Important Information

The recommended daily or meditation dose is up to 25 grams. You can make your Cacao to set your intentions for the day, create a small ritual or to feel supported and connected to your heart for an upcoming encounter, event or task.

The recommended ceremonial dose is up to 45 grams. This stronger dosage elevates spiritual practice to support you in delving deeper into your inner world, blocks, intentions & desires.

As Cacao is dehydrating it’s important you are fully hydrated before and after consuming.

I recommend not eating a huge meal just before drinking Cacao, as this will affect the Ceremonial Cacao absorption and magic! But please make sure you're not consuming on a completely empty stomach.

Alcohol & caffeine do not mix well with the spirit of Cacao & are therefore recommended to avoid on the day of consuming.

Elixir Cacao is an artisan product made purely with the Cacao nibs of the Cacao fruit. Due to the minimal filtration process used by the Tsatsayaku Association which preserves all the purity & goodness of the Cacao, some small solid bits may be found at the bottom of your cup. These are parts of the nib and are enjoyed by some and left by others!

Contraindications:

Ceremonial Cacao increases blood flow between the Brain and the Heart, providing awareness and focus between the two perspectives. It contains a cardiovascular stimulant, Theobromine, which is a loving and nurturing energy boost without the crash. Those who take antidepressants, have heart conditions or take other medicine may need to avoid Ceremonial Cacao completely or be advised to have a half dose, please check your medicine. If you are Pregnant or breastfeeding without any health concerns, a half dose is advised.
